Martin Chivers' Hampshire Football Association Youth Cup winner's plaque, 1961-62, the silvered shield with enamelled badge, engraved YOUTH CUP 1961-62 WINNERS, mounted on a bakelite easel plaque, 10 by 7.5cm, bears wear to the silver shield Martin Chivers was born in Southampton 27th April 1945.The present trophy was won when he played youth football for CPC Sports, Southampton FC's nursery side, before signing professional papers for the south coast team making his first-team debut v Charlton Athletic 8th September 1962 aged 17.
