Two sporting stevengraphs, for tennis and Oxford v Cambridge rowing, circa late 19th century, comprising "The First Set" featuring a tennis match, woven in silk, colour fading, by Thomas Stevens, the mount is not original and the backing is a modern photocopied reproduction, framed & glazed, overall 16 by 23cm.; "Are you Ready?" featuring a Oxford v Cambridge rowing race of two eight boats, woven in silk by Thomas Stevens, mounted, glazed and framed in a maple frame, overall 20.5 by 29.5cm., condition fair to good with some foxing on one of the examples, colours good, (2) All glass will be removed from framed and glazed items prior to posting and may result in delays to shipping your items. (This service is included in the cost of postage and packing). We can also totally remove all framing and mounts upon request to reduce shipping costs.
