Wayne Rooney's signed Umbro XAI goal scoring boots worn during Everton v Arsenal, played at Goodison Park, 19th October 2002, making Rooney the youngest goalscorer in the Premier League history at the time, gold and black coloured boots, with metal studs, signed on the inner side of each boot in marker pen, slightly faded, sold with three signed colour photographs of Wayne Rooney wearing the boots during the fixture, each signed in black marker pen, 15 by 20cm., 20 by 15cm. and 15 by 10cm., with letters of authentication Everton defeated Arsenal 2-1 with Wayne Rooney scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute, having been substituted on in the 80th minute replacing Tomasz Radzinski. Provenance: The uncle of the present vendor comes from a family that are long-time friends of Wayne Rooney's family and in particular a friendship with Wayne's uncle Richie, the main trainer at the boxing gym at Croxteth Sports Centre. The vendor's uncle acquired the boots through Wayne's brother Graham and they were then later signed by arrangement through Wayne's father Thomas.
