The autographs of the England 1932-33 Bodyline series cricketers, in ink on a printed photograph of the S.S. "Orontes", the ship that took the English team for the Ashes tour of Australia, signatures include Jardine, Mitchell, Paynter, Leyland, Larwood, Brown, Wyatt, Hammond, Verity, Allen, Sutcliffe, Duckworth, Bowes, Voce, Warner (manager), Nawab of Pataudi, Ames and Palairet (co-manager), lacking Maurice Tate, framed and glazed, overall 29 by 24.5cm; sold together with a framed edition of the Australian newspaper "The Sunday Sun & Guardian", dated 15th January 1933 and featuring on the front page a colour cartoon by Unk White titled "Nautical Noah" and alluding to the controversy of England's fast leg theory or bodyline bowling strategy, mounted with printed legend, framed and glazed, overall 96 by 64cm., (2) All glass will be removed from framed and glazed items prior to posting and may result in delays to shipping your items.
