Photographic display of Lord Harris' England cricket tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1878-79 display. The first photograph of the the team prior to departure from England and the second photograph of the team prior to a match, both mounted with legend, glazed and framed, overall 56 by 37cm. Lord Harris captained the England team on this private tour organised by the Melbourne Cricket Club, Australia defeated England in the one match test series on 2nd-4th January 1879. Please be aware all glass will be removed from framed and glazed items prior to posting and may result in delays to shipping your items. (This service is included in the cost of postage and packing).
