1920 Antwerp Olympic Games singles sculls rowing silver medal diploma awarded to Jack Beresford of Great Britain, of typical form featuring a helmeted Athena crowning a nude victor, with equestrian races behind in the stadium and Antwerp in the background, with details hand written in black ink, glazed and framed, 57 by 75cm. overall, minor wear to frame, diploma slightly faded Jack Beresford (1899-1977), British rower who won five medals at five Olympic Games in succession representing Great Britain. He won Singles Sculls silver medal in 1920 Antwerp games; Singles Sculls gold medal in 1924 Paris games; Eights silver medal in 1928 Amsterdam games; Coxless fours gold medal in 1932 Los Angeles games and Double Sculls gold medal in 1936 Berlin games.
