Ltd, first edition 1912, printed by William Clowes & Sons, Ltd, blue hardcover, featuring 58 illustrations; CAPTAIN ANTHONY WILDING, by Myers, A. Wallis., Hodder & Stoughton, second edition 1916, printed by Hasell, Watson & Viney, Ltd, blue hardcover, 37 illustrations; sold with a tennis scrapbook covering the period 1911 to 1915, with obituaries for R.F. Doherty, A.F. Wilding and Kenneth Powell, with many newspaper and magazine photographs of tennis players of the period, each bearing wear, some foxing to both books, scrapbook spine damage and loose, (3) Anthony Frederick Wilding (1883-1915), New Zealand world No.1 tennis player and solider, who died in action during WWI. He was the leading tennis player in the world during 1909-14, having won 11 Grand Slam tournament titles, six in singles and five in doubles, having won four consecutive Wimbledon singles titles from 1910 to 1913.
