Extensive collection of bowling club badges collected by the English bowls player John Lord Coles (1892-1972) a past president of the B.C.B.A, comprising of thirteen glazed cases containing fabric and enamelled bowling club badges from around the world, one case includes 15 embroidered fabric badges for the British Bowling team Australia & New Zealand 1850-51, USA 1947, South Africa 1949-50, Canada 1954, Australia 1962-63; British Empire & Commonwealth Games badges 1954, 1958; E.B.A. badges 1947, 1953, 1958; the other cases containing large variety of gilt metal and enamelled badges, some with details printed on silk, case size 61 by 46cm., sold together with a b & w photograph of J.L. Coles wearing his E.B.A president blazer 1958, mounted and framed, overall 40 by 32cm. (13 cases and 1 framed photograph) Please be aware all glass will be removed from framed and glazed items prior to posting and may result in delays to shipping your items.
