Collection of four matted photographs of Wanderers Rugby Club, Halifax, Nova Scotia, comprising 1898 team photograph with legend, winners of Halifax championship trophy which made them Champions Maritime Provinces; 1901 Wanderers team line up with legend; 1902 All Halifax team with legend; and another team line up of the period, all on board, with damage to board corners, foxing obvious, (4) Wanderers have been part of the Halifax Nova Scotia sports scene since 1896 and now run successful teams in professional sport. Rugby is only one section of the club. The pictures are all taken by Gavin & Gentzell who first operated as a photograph company in Halifax Nova Scotia in 1896.
