A trio of programmes from the Football Association Tour of South Africa in 1939 originally owned by the Natal inside-right E.H. Smethurst, all matches v the full South Africa international team and including an autographed copy for the match played 24th June signed in ink by the South Africa trainer Mr Wiltshire, the treasurer J.E. Kennedy and the players D.A. Wilson, B. C. van Vuuren. R.A. Styles, R.S. Gibson, R.M. Fitzgerald, A.J. Hughes, N. Smethurst, W. Gibb, T.A. Mitchell and E.H. Semthurst; the other programmes issued for the matches both played at the Wanderers Ground, Johannesburg, 17th June and 1st July, overall good, the autographed programme with worn covers and covers detached from staples; sold together with two England Amateur International programmes played at Ilford FC in season 1947-48, a triangular tournament arranged in preparation for the upcoming 1948 London Olympic Games football competition, the matches v Luxembourg 26th March and v France 3rd April, the Luxembourg sub-standard with significant paper loss, the France very good, (5)
