London Football Association Referee's badge, circa 1910, from the Sir Frederick Wall Collection, obverse inscribed LONDON FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION REFEREE surrounding St George's cross in white and red enamel, diameter 29mm. Lots 1 to 11 Sir Frederick Wall Collection Sir Frederick Joseph Wall (1858-1944) became Secretary of the Football Association in 1895 and held the position until his retirement in 1934, at which point he took a Directorship at Arsenal FC until 1938. He was knighted in the 1930 New Year Honours.
