Sir Frederick Wall's Football Association Official's badge for the England v Wales international played at Ashton Gate, Bristol, 17th March 1913, obverse bearing the England lion and Wales dragon emblems in relief in blue and red enamel, brooch pin back, diameter 32mm. England defeated Wales 4-3. This badge is undated but known to have been issued for this match. Lots 1 to 11 Sir Frederick Wall Collection Sir Frederick Joseph Wall (1858-1944) became Secretary of the Football Association in 1895 and held the position until his retirement in 1934, at which point he took a Directorship at Arsenal FC until 1938. He was knighted in the 1930 New Year Honours.
