An important 1934 World Cup official presentation from the Italian Football Association (FIGC) Organizing Committee, in the form of a continental silver salver set with enamel badges for the Kingdom of Italy, the FIGC and the national flags of the competing nations, engraved FEDERAZIONE ITALIANA GIVOCO del CALCIO, COPPA del MONDO, ITALIA - ANNO 1934 XII, stamped 800, diameter 20cm. An example of this plate is illustrated (plate D) on p.108 of the 1934 World Cup Official Report. It is captioned as a silver plate presented to delegates. These plates were awarded as a participation prize by the organizing committee only to the Coaches and Vice-coaches of the 16 participating teams and can be seen in the Coppa del Mondo 1934 report, see images attached. Some dishes were also awarded to some mangers of the Italian Football Federation, in al no more than 40 were awarded.
