Manchester United's Billy Meredith signed player profile postcard, dated 28th April 1936, the b & w postcard featuring Billy Meredith standing amongst his many awards, the front signed in black ink, reverse bearing a handwritten note "DEAR BILLY, HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND ALL CONCERNED ON YOUR SPLENDID PERFORMANCES, BILLY MEREDITH", 13.5 by 8.5cm, bears minor wear and creasing At this stage Manchester United only needed one point from two games to get promotion and achieved this with victory over Bury the following day 29th April 1936.
