White Tottenham Hotspur No.16 substitute's jersey from the 1987 F.A. Cup final, by Hummel, short-sleeved, this example bearing the Hummel logo, inscribed below the club badge F.A. CUP FINAL 1987 For reasons unclear there seemed to be an equipment failure for this final. Five of the Tottenham players wore jerseys without the Hummel manufacturers logo, namely Mabbutt, Hoddle, Paul Allen, Ardiles and Stevens. The remainder of the Spurs line-up donned jerseys, such as the one offered here, bearing the Hummel maker's logo. Provenance: Consigned from the Bryan Horsnell Collection (lots 587 to 804).
