Official pennant presented by the Portugal F.A. to the Football Association on the occasion of the match in the Taca Das Nacoes Mini Tournament in Brazil 4th June 1964, green and red ground with elaborate silk work and wire F.P.F. crest and gilt wire match inscription, the reverse with applied Portuguese and British flags, original hanging bar, 49 by 43cm., several dark marks to pennant, particularly to top right hand corner The England Portugal match took place at the Estadio Pacaembu, Sao Paulo, 4th June. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. The Taca Das Nacoes Mini Tournament was contested by Argentina, Brazil, England and Portugal. Provenance: Consigned from the Bryan Horsnell Collection (lots 587 to 804).
