Official Italian F.A. pennant presented to the Turnberry Hotel in Ayrshire, Scotland, during the delegation's stay ahead of the 1960 European Cup final at Hampden Park, Glasgow, 18th May 1960, blue satin ground with crest and gilt wire inscription, original hanging bar, 58 by 35cm. This was the famous high scoring European Cup final when real Madrid defeat Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3. Provenance: Consigned from the Bryan Horsnell Collection (lots 587 to 804).
