England Schools' international cap awarded to Cliff Bastin (later of Arsenal FC) for the match v Wales played at the Athletic Ground, Aberdare, 17th April 1926, bearing England's three lions emblem, E. v W and 1926 in gilt thread, with braiding and tassel, some wear to braiding and threading, the interior with makers label RAWCLIFFES LTD, the interior bearing tears to silk lining, sold with four-page match programme, bearing pencil notes and fold creases with wear, and Cliff Bastin's jersey badge in the form of a shield with three lions and E.S.F.A embroidered in red thread, some staining, (3) England defeated Wales 2-1, with Cliff Bastin scoring one of the goals. At the age of 14 years and one month Cliff Bastin was selected to play for England schoolboys.
