A unique collection of b&w Cardiff City photographs, varying sizes of team photographs, match action and individual players and officials, press accreditation to most, all annotated to rear for identification and covers the earliest days of the League Club from 1920-21 and 1929-30. Includes team photograph first season as League Club 1920-21 taken at training in Ninian Park 15th March 1921, full team line-up in shirts, 6 by 3.5in. approx, possibly first ever team line photograph of club first season when finishing runners-up in Division Two; Team photograph 1921-22 season before FA Cup replay v Southampton at Ninian Park 1st February 1922, 9 by 7in.; Team photograph 1926-27 taken at Ninian Park before fixture v Newcastle 20th September 1926 from photography album; one of the earliest action photograph season 1921-22 of second home match in Division Two, 7 by 6in., sold with a unique collection of photographs of players and directors including Bert Smith 27/11/1920 first season, Billy Hardy 9/10/29, directors Cox and Nicholson supervising ground improvements August 1919, players in civilian clothes at Southport 1923-24, George Latham, Jimmy Gill, Herbie Evans, Billy Hardy and others including Fred Stewart manager 9/10/29.
