Set of 30 R & L Ltd. cigarette cards commemorating the 1924 All Blacks' 'Invincibles' undefeated tour of Britain, Ireland, France and Canada from September 1924 to February 1925, each card signed in black ink and bearing a player’s profile surrounding a centrally typed legend, the reverse showing the backs of the cards with the player's name and position, mounted, framed and glazed, 49 by 61cm. overall, little wear, some signatures slightly faded Nicknamed 'The Invincibles', the unbeaten 1924-25 New Zealand touring team was captained by Cliff Porter. They played 32 games including four Test Matches, one each against England, Wales, Ireland and France, scoring 838 points with only 116 scored against them.
