Stuart Wortley was a portrait and sporting painter of considerable renown. This limited edition photogravure, signed both by Wortley and the Doctor, is based on an oil painting commissioned by the M.C.C. in 1888-90 by means of subscriptions which now hangs in the Long Room at Lord's.
