A fine Blackburn Rovers 1928 F.A. Cup Final souvenir photograph album originally the property of club Vice-Chairman J. Eddleston Esq.,gilt stamped cover, containing an example of a player's shirt badge, a passage of printed text and 33 high quality photographs including team-group, club directors, the trophy, aerial view of Wembley, laying of a club wreath at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, community singing, the singing of Abide With Me, crowd scenes, players taking to the field, presentation of players to H.M. The King, captains shaking hands at the centre spot, panoramic views of the match in progress, close-up of the 1st minute goal, 2nd goal as seen from the stand and another from a nearer view, Harry Healless receiving the Cup and medal from the King and other views of the ceremony, parading the cup, scene in the dressing room, and concluding with the triumphant return to Blackburn.  Condition is fair with wear to the exterior of the album, and the interior, there is water damage evident throughout the pages, the spine is damaged with losses.
