A commemorative flask presented to Tommy Taylor from the Yugoslavia Football Federation on the occasion of the England v Yugoslavia International Friendly match, played at Empire Stadium, Wembley on 28th November 1956, the red and white leather covered glass flask with webbed handled and with applied engraved plaque ENGLAND V YUGOSLAVIA 28.XI.1956 FSY, bears Christies auction label, height: 18.3 cm Provenance: Christies auction Lot 18 23rd September 2003 Thomas ''Tommy'' Taylor, (1932-1958), an English footballer who was one of the eight Manchester United Busby Babes players who lost their lives in the Munich air disaster. Taylor played with Manchester United from 1953 to 1958, with 166 appearances, scoring 112 goals and for England National team between 1953-1957, appearing 19 times scoring 16 goals.
