A gold medal awarded to Zindine Zidane for winning the 2001 Supercopa de Espana, with Real Madrid, of circular form with Supercopa Del Futbol Espanol 2000 - 2001 and reverse Real Federation Espana de Futbol, with ribbon, diameter: 51 mm; sold with a COA in French language signed by Zindine Zidane (2) The COA translates into English as follows: ''This letter certifies that the medal was obtained from former Real Madrid player Zinedine Yazid Zidane. Zizou received this medal with his team after winning the Supercopa de Espana in 2001. Real Madrid defeated Zaragoza (4 - 1) in total. The medal was received from Zizou on 14th July, 2011 in Marseille. The letter has Zizou's signature below.'' Further to the COA, it can be confirmed the receiver of the medal was Stephanie Villani, a sports collector and a close friend of Zidane. Villani and Zidane and other officials were invited for a night dinner in Marseille at the aforementioned date. After the dinner Zidane called Stephanie and presented the medal. Next morning, before each was about to leave, Stephanie prepared three papers to be signed by Zizou confirming the medals provenance.
