A 9ct gold Canon League Division 2 Winners medal, season 1985-86, awarded to Nigel Pleasants secretary of Norwich City FC, the 9ct gold circular medal with red and white enamelled shield, inscribed CANON LEAGUE DIVISION 2 WINNERS, the reverse engraved SEASON 1985-86 NIGEL PLEASANTS, hallmarked 375 Birmingham Vaughtons Ltd, in original fitted box gilt tooled THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE FOUNDED 1888, weight: 17.2 gms, diameter: 31 mm Nigel Pleasants former secretary for Norwich City FC, when he took over from Bert Westwood in 1980 and who helped guide the Canaries through the upheaval of the main stand at Carrow Road fire in October 1984 and the Milk Cup victory over Sunderland in the 1984-85 season. He left the club at the end of 1987.
