A 9ct gold Football League Champions Division 3 medal for season 1963-64, awarded to Graham Wilfred Newton of Coventry City FC, during the managership of Jimmy Hill, the 9ct gold circular medal with loop ring, inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS DIVISION 3, reverse engraved SEASON 1963-64 G.W. NEWTON, hallmarked 375 Birmingham, weight: 14.8 gms, diameter: 28 mm Graham Newton (1942-2019) English footballer and manger, having played with Blackpool from 1961 to 1962, Walsall from 1962 to 1964, moving to Coventry City in 1964 with 8 league appearances scoring 3 goals under Jimmy Hill. He went onto play for Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic 1964-67, Atlanta Chiefs 1967-68, Port Vale 1968-69, Atlanta Chiefs 1969-70, Hednesford Town 1970, Worcester City 1970-74 and Stourbridge in 1975.
