Jo Siffert and Ronnie Peterson signed 1971 Brands Hatch Victory Race F1 programme, both ink signatures across their image on the 'Champion Drivers' page, also signed by Peter Gethin, the front cover bearing the signature of 1971 F5000 Champion Frank Gardner, 68-pages complete with original F3 racecard insert, dated 24th October 1971 When the 1971 Mexican GP was cancelled, Brands Hatch decided to hold an end of season Victory Race to honour the World Champion, Jackie Stewart. These signatures were obtained during practice when Jo Siffert took pole position in his B.R.M. Sadly, the following day's race would prove to be his last, as he crashed heavily due to suspension failure on lap 15. He died as the car burst into flames and caused the race to be stopped. It was then abandoned and his team mate Peter Gethin declared the winner. It later transpired that damage from a first corner clash with Ronnnie Peterson's March had eventually caused his car's suspension to break.
