Mayer, Pforzheim, 55 mm.; sold together with a group of memorabilia from the Eichhorn Collection; as silver gentleman's ring with enamel Olympic Rings; two 1936 Olympic Games magazines; multiple copies of three pictures featuring Eichhorn and the winning boat including his coxless pair partner HugoStrauss's and the winning boat; and a booklet, itinerary and souvenir candle from the Munich 1972 Olympic Games where Mr & Mrs Eichhorn were invited as Guests of Honour. Willi Eichhorn (German, 1908 - 1994), a German rower who competed in the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics, where he won at the age of 27 years a gold medal with his partner Hugo Straub in the coxless pairs competition for men in a time of 8:16.1, against teams from Denmark, Argentina, Hungary, Switzerland and Poland.
