The cricket bat used by Sir Leonard Hutton when scoring his final century in First-Class Cricket in 1955, signed in blue ink to the reverse shoulder, a Gradidge short handle Len Autograph cricket bat, the face set with a brass plaque inscribed THIS BAT WAS USED BY SIR LEONARD HUTTON IN SCORING 197 AT TRENT BRIDGE IN 1955, THIS BEING HIS FINAL CENTURY IN FIRST-CLASS CRICKET; sold with a sheet from The Evening News, 4th October 1957, with an article titled ''Howzatt! Twelve Win the Hutton Bats'', announcing the winners of twelve cricket bats used by Sir Len Hutton during his career, including the original winner of this bat W. S.
