A pair of Berlin 1936 Olympic Games souvenir photograph albums, the first more extensive and neatly compiled with a good selection of nearly 130 b&w photographs/postcards, many commercially produced but with examples of privately taken photographs taken by a spectator in the Olympic Stadium and the swimming and gymnastics venues, many pictures captioned with a white Chinagraph pencil, the album is also pasted with admittance tickets for the Olympic Stadium (2) the swimming pool and the gymnastics arena; the second, smaller album but with over 50 pictorial items, some of the photographs printed larger up to 7 by 9in., and also with a further interesting selection of private photos including portraits of the husband and wife who took them, with an indication that the couple came to Berlin from Dresden to watch the Games (2)
