Trim & Co., the players, left-to-right, are Parke, Collins, Dixon, Gore & Roper-Barrett, mounted, damage & stains to mount, image largely unaffected; sold together with prints of the 1879 and 1887 Wimbledon Championships, published by The Illustrated London News and The Graphic respectively (3) The Great Britain team beat France in the opening round and then unexpectedly won the Challenge Round against Australia. The USA pulled out of the competition allowing the British team to win by a walk-over.
