The trainer's prize for the 1980 The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Champion Chase, in the form of a hallmarked silver-gilt medal, suitably inscribed, the obverse with a steeplechasing scene, engraved ANOTHER DOLLY, MARCH 12th 1980, in original Bunbury's of London fitted case; sold together with another cased Cheltenham prize medal, in copper inscribed THE COURAGE CHALLENGE, CHELTENHAM, 20th APRIL1983 (2) 1980 was the first time the race was given its present title in the year of The Queen Mother's 80th birthday and in recognition of her patronage of jump racing. Beforehand the race, first run in 1959, was known as the National Hunt Two-Mile Champion Chase. Another Dolly is the longest priced winner in the history of the race, winning at odds of 33 to 1. The winner was owned by Mr Ian Urquhart, trained by Fred Rimell and ridden by Sam Morshead. Provenance: Mercy Rimell Collection
