Lunn, the arch-shaped photograph 7 ? by 9 3/4in., mounted on board, overall 30 by 35cm., title and player legends handwritten in ink; comes with a separate, later mount with the same details printed (2) The Inter Hospitals Cup, also known as the United Hospitals Challenge Cup, is the oldest cup competition in the game of rugby that is still contested to this day. The competition was established In 1874 by the United Hospitals R.FC., represented by five medical schools in London, The first final took place at The Oval Cricket Ground on 3rd March 1875 with Guy's Hospital beating St George's Hospital by 1 goal (converted try) and 1 try to 2 tries.
