Elio de Angelis' 1983 Italian GP Lotus-Renault 94T F1 steering wheel, the rim bound in black suede, the metal boss with three fixing holes and bearing an etched Momo logo and stamped Classic Team Lotus Registration Plate, as fitted to chassis no. 94T/1 and used for qualifying and the race, housed in a plexi-glass display case; sold with a copy of the race engineer's record sheet detailing car set-up, lap times and track position for the event, a COA signed by Clive Chapman, plus an issue of Lotus World magazine with relevant race report, a b&w photo of him driving a 94T and portrait with facsimile signature, plus two JPS press-releases for the car and an embroidered Team Lotus patch, the wheel 27cm, 11.5in diameter, race wear - some slight scuffing, the case 28 by 28 by 5cm, 11 by 11 by 2in (qty.) De Angelis started the Monza race from 8th and finished 5th. Purchased from Classic Team Lotus in 2005.
