An impressive presentation by Blenheim Cricket Club in 1868, in the form of a gentlemen's desk set, gilt, cricket ball inkwell on a cricket bats tripod, pen rest formed by a pair of wickets, also a cricket cap mounted to the polished wooden base set with a presentation plaque inscribed PRESENTED TO MR WILLIAM B. STRONG, TREASURER & UMPIRE OF THE BLENHEIM CRICKET CLUB, AS AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF HIS LONG & FAITHFUL SERVICES, 3rd OCTOBER 1868, diameter 25.5cm. good condition
