An iconic Liverpool Football Club sign THE KOP, an exceptional opportunity to acquire the pair of illuminated signs that hung on the brickwork tower walls located to the outside of Liverpool FC's world famous home supporters' stand, the first being offered as the previous lot (Lot 229), the other as the present lot (lot 230) recently removed and replaced with similar signs in a new font, each letter 60cm. high., good condition; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by Liverpool Football Club Photographed in situ on the Kop Stand brickwork tower. For the avoidance of doubt the large LFC crest beneath THE KOP letttering as seen in the catalogue illustration is not part of the lot.
