The trophy for the North Middlesex Football League First Division Morning Challenge Shield contested for between seasons 1894-95 and 1905-06, in the form of a copper shield set with a central roundel with a football scene and titled THE MORNING CHALLENGE SHIELD, the top corners mounted with a design of laurel, ball and crossed corner flags, the bottom with a shield inscribed PRESENTED BY ''THE MORNING'' TO THE NORTH MIDDLESEX FOOTBALL LEAGUE, FIRST DIVISION, further set with 11 roundels bearing the name of the season winning football team, 37 by 30cm.
