A racing plate worn by ''St Germans'' in the 1925 Coronation Cup in 1925, set in a cloth lined picture frame, mounted with an inscribed ivorine plaque, 19cm. square Viscount Astor's St Germans recorded victories in the Coronation Cup and Doncaster Cup amongst his 9 career wins from 20 starts, and also finished 2nd in the 1924 Derby. He was sent to America as a stallion where he was the leading sire in 1931. His most notable progeny includes Bold Venture, Devil Diver & Twenty Grand.
