Innsbruck 1976 Winter Olympic Games gold prize medal, in silver-gilt, designed by the Viennese artist Martha Coufal-Hartl (who designed the 1964 Innsbruck Games medal), produced by the Austrian mint in Vienna, the obverse depicts the emblem of the Games (the same as the 1964 Games) comprising the Olympic rings and the coat of arms of the city showing the bridge on the Inn which gives the city of Innsbruck its name, the reverse inscribed SLALOM and features a stylised representation of the Bergisel ski jump, with the Alps beyond and a lit torch in the foreground, in original fitted case, with red & white neck ribbon
