Cabinet card signed by Arthur William Fulcher who played seven first-class cricket matches for Kent CCC between 1878 and 1887, signed in ink and dated June 21st 1894, A.W. Fulcher was born in Pau, France, in 1885. He was educated at Westminster and resided at Redenham House, Andover, Hampshire. As well as being a first-class cricketer he was a fine yachtsman, hence his attire in the cabinet card and the photographic studio being at Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
