A 1966 World Cup Final programme and First Day Cover both signed by Alf Ramsey, the programme signed over p.32 team-lines ups, both signatures in blue ink, programme in poor condition; sold with a 9ct. gold charm designed as the Jules Rimet Trophy surmounted by a football, 3.5cm.; sold with a signed letter of provenance from the consignor (4) In 1966 the current consignor was a District Nurse and two of her patients were the mother & father of Alf Ramsey who were both suffering illnesses which necessitated daily visits to their home in Halibut Street, Dagenham. On the Monday following the World Cup win, Alf Ramsey visited his parents and on this occasion, and as a gesture of gratitude, gifted the items being offered here to the district nurse.
