George Cohen's white England No.2 jersey worn in the World Cup semi-final v Portugal at Wembley 26th July 1966, by Umbro, long-sleeved, swapped at the end of the match with his Portuguese opponent Antonio Simoes who later signed the jersey in black marker pen and inscribed TO G.COHEN, WITH MY BEST REGARDS, FEV. 08 99, when returning the jersey to George Cohen on the occasion when they met up again in support of a charity event at the Benfica Club in London in 1999, the shirt is now reverse mounted in a frame and therefore the inscription is not visible, but has been photographed in the catalogue, blue dye colour run from the three lions badge England progressed to the World Cup final with a 2-1 win over Portugal. Both England goals were scored by Bobby Chalrton. A Eusbeio penalty on 82 minutes led to a nervous final passage of play.
