A Scottish rugby cap believed to be Melrose RFC and first awarded in 1900-01, the red cap by Tress & Co., London, but retailed by W J Milne of Aberdeen with complicated monogram interpreted as MRFC, bearing eight successive season dates between 1900-01 and 1907-08
