Autographed match ball from the Cosmos v World All Stars UNICEF game played at the Giants Stadium, New Jersey, 30th August 1978, SIGNED BY THE WORLD ALL STARS TEAM, a French manufactured Adidas Official NASL soccer ball bearing the facsimile signature of Commissioner Phil Woosnam, the pentagon panels with white outlined red stars on a blue background, the ball bears the match identification in the hand of the Cosmos equipment manager Charles Martinelli, housed in a Lucite display box; sold together with the official match programme which has a pair of match tickets taped to the front cover (2) The match ended as a 2-2 draw with Giorgo Chinaglia and Seninho scoring for the hosts, and Rivellino and Leonardo Cuellar. The World All-Stars squad comprised Hector Baley, Emerson Lead, Oscar Bernardi, Andaranik Eskanderian, Wilhelmus Rusbergen, Batista Da Silva, Kazmierz Deyna, Americo Gallego, Iraj Danaifar, Cesar Cueto, Roberto Rivellino, Treofilo Cubillas, Cuekkar Rivera, Zbigniew Boniek, Grzegorz Lato, Johnny Rep, Temime Lahzami, Jorge Olguin, Alberto Tarantini, Tarak Dhaib, Dirceu Jose Guimaraes and coach Cesar Menotti Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection.
