A collection of printed racecards/results for Yorkshire meetings in the late 18th & early 19th century including the 1801, 1804, 1805 & 1807 St Legers at some time stapled as a bundle, top-left, the group comprising: i & ii) two for the York August Meeting of 1794, the first printed after 4 days of the 7 day meet, the other with fully printed results (King's 100 guineas won by Mr Cornforth's Antaeus) iii) Doncaster Races September 1801, with results printed for the first three days of the four day meet (the St Leger won by Mr G. Crompton's Quiz and the Gold Cup won by Mr Wentworth's Chance) iv) Doncaster Races September 1804, with results printed for the first three days of the four day meet (King's Plate won by Sir H. Williamson's Starling, the St Leger won by Mr Mellish's Sancho & the Gold Cup won by Lord Grey's Sir Oliver v) Doncaster Races September 1805, with results printed for the first three days of the four day meet (the King's Plate won by Mr Mellish's Quid, the St Leger won by Mr Fletcher's Staveley vi) The Gold Cup won by Lord Fitzwilliam's Caleb Quotem) Pontefract Races September 1806, with results printed for the first two days of the three day meet (The Gold Cup won by Lord Darlington's Trafalgar) vii) York August Meeting 1806, with results printed except for the final day viii) York Spring Meeting 1807, with results printed for the first day of the three day meet ix) York August Meeting 1807, with results printed for the first five days of the seven day meet; x) the bundle also has a printed list on names titled ''Names of Subscribers To The Assembly'' headed with Prince of Wales's Feathers xi) and finally, separate from the bundle, is a complete set of printed results for Doncaster Races, September 1807 (the King's Plate won by Lord Strathmore's 4-y-o b c, the St Leger won by Lord Fitzwilliam's filly Paulina & The Gold Cup won by Lord Monson's Scud)
