A large strip of London 2012 Olympic Stadium athletics track carpeting removed from the medal ceremony area and inscribed ''London 2012'', manufactured with the same red coloured surface texturing as the athletics track installed by the Italian manufacturer Mondo, large inscription in white reading ''London 2012'' in the distinctive ''2012Headline'' typeface designed by Gareth Hague for the London 2012 Games, this being one of two identical areas of carpeting that flanked the medal podium, cut down to the upper & lower margins of the lettering from its original size, now measuring approx.19 metres long and of tapering width approx. 3.8 metres at the '2012' end, narrowing to approx. 2.35 metres at the 'London' end, wear and marks as evident in the illustration due to its outside location in an area of high footfall in the medal ceremony area for the Olympic and Paralympic Games; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Mayor of Newham (2)
