CONSIGNED BY THE FORMER FIFA REFEREE ANDERS FRISK AND TO BE SOLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GOTHEBURG SPORTS & ATHLETICS MUSEUM, THE HEART SCIENCE CENTRE AT SAHLGRENSKA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, THE CHILDREN CANCER FUND SWEDEN AND THE UEFA CHILDREN FOUNDATION The David Trezeguet 103rd minute 'Golden Goal' football from the France v Italy UEFA Euro 2000 Final from the collection of the match referee Anders Frisk, a white & silver Adidas Terrestra Silverstream football, inscribed OFFICIAL MATCH BALL, UEFA, EURO 2000 CHAMPIONSHIP; sold together with two newspapers featuring Anders Frisk and the football, and a plaque from the time the ball was loaned for an exhibition at the Gothenburg Sports and Athletes Museum, The final of Euro 2000 was played at the Feijenoord Stadion, Rotterdam, on 2nd July 2000. Italy had led from a 55th minute Marco Delvecchio goal before Sylvain Wiltord snatched an equaliser in the third minute of injury time. In extra time David Trezeguet, who came on as a 76th minute substitite, won the Championship for France with a 'Golden Goal' in the 103rd minute. As a result became reigning World and European Champions, following the win in FIFA France '98. Referee Anders Frisk retrieved the ball from the back of the net to keep as a memento of the occasion.
