A 1930s Grays of Cambridge ''Rackets'' racket, a fine example, engraved on the handle FRAME ONLY MADE BY H. J. GRAY & SONS LTD., in fine condition with no warping or cracks, there appears to be an area on the handle where the original layer of varnish and lacquer has flaked away, exposing the wooden layer below, the grains in the wood match both sides of the area and through the middle too, original calf-skin wrapped handle, length 76cm., 30in., width across head 20cm., 8in.
