James Toseland's 2007 'double-victory' Brands Hatch WSB Suomy helmet, the red, white, blue and gold Bargy design bearing his marker pen signature dated WSB 2006 2007, the dark visor featuring Hannspree and HM Plant logos and retaining its tear-off strip with distinctive green tabs, the lining showing signs of his racing exertions, the chin strap bearing an E3 certification number, sold with an illustrated report of the event in an August 8th issue of Motor Cycle News (2) A highlight of James Toseland's 2007 World Superbike Championship was his first double-race win in the series at his home round of Brands Hatch. Celebrating on the slow-down lap, he began removing his protective racewear and throwing it to the crowd, piece by piece - gloves at Druid's, helmet and boots between Graham Hill and Surtees, then leathers at Clearways - just as he vowed he would should the situation arise. These events may be seen on YouTube, including the vendor gratefully relieving him of the helmet on sale here, to which James later gladly agreed to add his signature.
