A telegram sent by Bobby Moore from Mexico in 1970 to Mr & Mrs Maurice Keston, dated 30th May 1970, addressed to Mr & Mrs M Keston, and sent via the offices of the Daily Mirror in London, reading FINALLY ARRIVED MEXICO, STOP, GOOD HEALTH, STOP, THANKS FOR BEING HELPFUL TO TINA, STOP, APPRECIATE GREATLY GOD BLESS, BOBBY The telegram relates to Bobby Moore's late arrival to join his team-mates in Mexico following the 'Bogota Bracelet' incident for which he was arrested. Bobby Moore was released unconditionally on 28th May, 5 days before England's opening match. The Colombian authorities came to the conclusion that Moore was innocent of any wrongdoing, but the case was not formally closed until 1972.
